In a blog post today, Twitter announced that they had identified a bug that stored account passwords, in clear-text (unmasked), in an internal log.
While advising that there is no evidence of misuse or compromise (breach) that could expose these credentials, they still strongly recommended that all users change their Twitter passwords.
While you are at it, why don’t you also enable two-factor authentication!
